All versions of Windows®, as well as several 3rd party programs, leave behind traces and temporary files which consume precious disk space and even contain personal information. With the “Unnecessary files”  feature of TuneUp Utilities 2012, you don’t just delete these reports, but  a ton of unnecessary data clutter as well:

• Crash reports ("memory dump"):If a PC crashes, Windows® produces a memory dump containing analytical information regarding the cause of the problem which may, in some cases, also contain your personal information. 
• Windows® error reports:If a program crashes, Windows® generates an error report containing information regarding the type of crash. However, this report may also contain personal information ( i.e. files that were accessed by the program itself). 
• Log files: Windows® and 3rd party programs often use protocols to record their operations. While these logs are sometimes used to troubleshoot issues, they may also contain sensitive data.
