Getting Started with TuneUp Utilities

Installing the software

Once TuneUp Utilities has finished downloading, open the EXE file by double-clicking it. In many cases, the Windows® user account wizard will ask if you would like changes to be made to your computer. Confirm with "Yes" otherwise, it will not be possible to install TuneUp Utilities. Next start the TuneUp Utilities 2014 installer and a wizard will guide you through the steps. 

Start TuneUp Utilities 2014

There are several options available for starting the program. Double-click on the "TuneUp Utilities 2014" located on your Windows® desktop or launch the software from the Start Menu. To do so, click on the Start Orb on the bottom left of your desktop, then click on "All Programs" and open the folder called "TuneUp Utilities 2014". Click on "TuneUp Utilities 2014" to open the Start Center. 

You can also start each individual module by clicking on "All Features" on the module you wish to start. TuneUp Utilities can be started in Windows® 8 via the Modern UI. Click on the TuneUp tile or the tile with the module you wish to start.

Uninstalling TuneUp Utilities 2014

TuneUp Utilities is a standard Windows® application. If you need to uninstall the software, go the Start Menu and open the Control Panel and click on "Programs". Click on the item TuneUp Utilities from the list of software and select "Uninstall".

A new window will appear asking if you want to uninstall the software. Confirm with "Yes" if you want to uninstall TuneUp Utilities. The software will then be removed from your computer.
