TuneUp Corporation, headquartered in Miami, Florida, was founded to serve the North American market, with a focus on supporting TuneUp Utilities sales to consumers, retailers, SMBs and enterprises.  

TuneUp protects users from PC problems, while helping them increase the performance and security of their computers. Since 1997, the TuneUp brand has stood for high-quality products that offer maximum customer benefit. TuneUp develops its solutions in-house. That way it can maintain its own high business standards without being bound to patents, licenses, or third-party suppliers. Close contact with its ever-expanding user community, means TuneUp ensures that the company and its products continually develop to meet the needs of its customers. 

TuneUp Utilities is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Chinese and Czech.

TuneUp Software was founded with the vision of developing innovative software for sophisticated users that would set a new standard for security and user-friendliness in the utility software segment.

Founding of TuneUp Software GmbH by Tibor Schiemann and Christoph Laumann. Sales of product keys for the TuneUp 97 software

1998

TuneUp 97 is sold on the retail market in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

2002

The company headquarters move to Darmstadt

2003

TuneUp Utilities 2004 is released in German, English and French

2005

TuneUp Utilities 2006 is released in German, English, French and Dutch
